did<\/h3><p>Participants living with mild to moderate mental health conditions within the Borough of Dacorum were enrolled into the programme and were required to attend weekly, two-hour, guided nature connection experiences within a local city park.<\/p><p>A certified nature connection guide led the weekly sessions and in addition, wellbeing scores, using the Short Warwick Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (SWEMWBS) were collected at Week 0, Week 6 and Week 10 as well as some further qualitative data.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-820d238 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"820d238\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>What we found<\/h3><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><strong>At the start, 80%<\/strong> of people reported living with low wellbeing.<\/li><li>After 6 weeks of nature connection intervention <strong>this changed to 60%<\/strong> living with moderate wellbeing <strong>and was maintained<\/strong> one month after the sessions had finished.<\/li><li>The<strong> biggest positive change<\/strong> was seen in the SWEMWBS statements \u201cI\u2019ve been feeling relaxed\u201d and \u201cI\u2019ve been feeling closer to other people\u201d.<\/li><li>The <strong>social value impact<\/strong> at six weeks was <strong>\u00a323,366<\/strong> meaning that for every \u00a31 invested there was a \u00a310.36 social value return.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2065d79a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\"
